Portland doesn't have any high street chains or boutique fashion outlets but you can always find somewhere to get your hair cut or your nails done.

The main shopping centre is in Easton where you'll find some great independent retailers as well as charity shops, a petrol station and a decent sized Tesco.

There are a number of convenience and hardware stores as well as two chemists on the island, as well as a Lidl at Portland Marina.
